Jim and his wife, Andi, have lived in Bozeman since 1983. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Jim loves playing morning racquetball games, traveling, and watching his grandkids play sports.
Jim was a volunteer with the Child Advancement Program run by the local chapter of Thrive for 20 years. Under the program, he mentored a student once a week in one of the local schools. He also served in the US Navy on an aircraft carrier during the early years of the Vietnam conflict. Besides real estate, Jim has a strong background in construction and helping clients buy and sell all kinds of real estate. Jim and Andi have bought and sold investment property over the years and he enjoys helping people with investment opportunities. He has been licensed to sell real estate in Montana for 32 years. Jim’s clients are very important to him and he works hard to make sure their buying or selling experience goes smoothly.

Jim Woodley’s career in real estate started in 1968 when he got out of the Navy, working in his family's business in Ohio. Besides being in real estate, they also were developers, builders and property managers. Jim has supervised subdivision development, shopping center development and home construction as well as years of sales experience. After moving to Bozeman Jim decided that real estate was what he wanted to concentrate on; so since 1992 he has been helping buyers and sellers.
When working on your behalf, Jim brings 50 years of sales and negotiation experience to the table. He listens to what your needs are and translates those into the best possible experience for you. He can handle all your real estate needs from land to homes to investment. He also works well with first time homebuyers and veterans. Having lived in Bozeman since 1983, he knows the area and will help you find just the right fit. Jim develops a close relationship with his clients through his personal service and commitment. His tenacity and vast knowledge of the market helps him find the specialty properties that meet his clients needs.
Jim Woodley has held a real estate license in Montana since 1991 and joined ERA Landmark in 2000. Jim has more than 15 years experience in construction, real estate and property management. Jim is a volunteer for the Bozeman Public School Districts Child Advancement Project and is a committee member for the 2001 Air Show of the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce. Jim was the 2001 President of the Gallatin Association of REALTORS. He is also a member of the National and Montana Association of REALTORS and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.
