Laurie and his wife Debbie have two children and enjoy hiking and rafting trips in Montana and Idaho. Laurie is also an avid golfer, plays tennis, speaks french and enjoys a good game of euchre, cribbage and backgammon. Laurie is strongly committed to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and has enjoyed being a judge at the public speech and debate tournaments at Bozeman High School. He is a member of the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.

BACKGROUND: Laurie received his real estate license in April 2007 and immediately joined ERA Landmark Real Estate as a Sales Associate. After having practiced law in Southern California for ten years, Laurie moved to Bozeman in 2000 and went to work outdoors as a wildland firefighter and assistant water well driller, giving him a profound appreciation for the Pacific Northwest as well as a broad knowledge of the Gallatin Valley and its neighborhoods. Before joining ERA Landmark, Laurie spent three years as a law clerk at the Sabol Law Office, one of Bozeman’s top real estate law firms, where he acquired expertise in all manners of real estate transactions and developments.

EDUCATION: He received his A.B. degree with honors from Harvard College and his J.D. degree from the University of California – Hastings, graduating in the top third of his class. Laurie has also taken numerous continuing education courses covering real estate and other legal topics.
