After a year of serving up delicious Chicago-style pizza at their Park Place Shopping passage location, Engine Room Pizza, along with Dream Boat Market and Apples and Anglers, is excited to announce their move to a new, larger space at 102 North Second Street.
The new 1,700 square foot space is undergoing some renovations, with new flooring, paneling, paint, and lighting. Karen Henderson, the owner of all three businesses, is also incorporating repurposed materials into the design, such as the bar from the former Mustang Fresh Food and steel panels from an old barn. The new location is expected to offer expanded hours, including lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch. Additionally, Henderson is planning a variety of exciting events, such as Monday night jazz, open mic nights, storytelling, trivia, and special themed nights like rib and family-style meal nights.
The move to a larger space will allow Engine Room Pizza and the other businesses to offer more dining options and host a wider range of events. The new location will also feature a state-of-the-art PizzaMaster oven, capable of baking up to nine pizzas per deck at a time.
Henderson hopes to open the new location by December 1st, in time for the Livingston Christmas Stroll on December 6th.
