You will feel like you've traveled back to 1945 when you see this sweet vintage Forest Service leased cabin on the banks of Big Creek in Paradise Valley. It was originally built in 1920 by Livingston dentists and updated in 1945. The covered front porch, log interior, stacked rock fireplace, and beamed ceilings evoke a simpler time without the constant ping of cell phones and computers (although you have great cell service at the site!). The cabin has been lovingly maintained throughout the years with updated wiring and hot water on demand at the kitchen sink. Spring water is gravity fed to the kitchen sink. The bedroom fits a queen size bed, and your hide-a-bed in the living room will add extra sleeping space. The only toilet is an outhouse behind the cabin. The Forest Service Special Use Permit includes 3 acres, and the cabin is surrounded by Forest Service land and Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. Cabin must be used at least 16 days per year, it cannot be a full-time residence, no rentals are allowed, horses or other livestock may not be housed on the land full-time.
