We live here, we love it here!
We have a special affinity for this part of Montana, with its magnificent scenery, year-round recreation and strong sense of history and community. We take great pride in supporting the local and national organizations that make our community unique and strong. We feel so fortunate to live in “The Last Best Place” that we are committed to giving our time, raising funds, and lending our resources to help those in need.
How ERA Landmark Started Giving Back
ERA Landmark established the Christmas Fund 1984 when we originally cut Montana Christmas trees and sold them at our office parking lot. We also collected new and used toys to distribute. After a few years of heavy lifting and the desire not to compete with local tree lots, we decided to dedicate a portion of each real estate closing to create the funding. Over the past 35 years, the Christmas Fund has collected over $160,000 for more than a dozen local charities. In addition to the Christmas Fund, ERA Landmark associates have given money, time and resources to other local and national organizations such as MDA, United Way, Special Olympics, Gallatin Valley Food Bank, etc. based on need and the impact the organizations have on the community.
ERA Landmark Season of Giving
The Season of Giving Fund was originally created to fund The Bozeman Optimist Club’s Warm Coat Project which gives coats to local children in need. Starting in 2009, we decided to expand our donation to include Thrive, an organization that encourages healthy family development through community awareness, parent education and support to children and families. We “adopted” a few families in need and donated items to make their Christmas a little easier. Now we provide gifts to over 200 families through the following organizations: Family Promise, Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, Haven and Thrive.
