The Mountains Are Calling! RECREATIONAL tract close to the Livingston Peak trail head, Forest Service land and the 937,032-acre Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Area. Popular with locals who love the hunting and hiking opportunities. Bear, elk, moose, mountain lions, deer and other wildlife all frequent the area. Tract has several good cabin sites and spectacular views. Must haul water or use spring water on tap in subdivision provided by Forest Service (area is "dry" - so drilling a well is futile). Electricity is available in the area, but not to the lot. Seasonal access only via Forest Service road. Driving to the lot is best by all wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle, and you can generally access the property from seven to nine months/year depending on snow fall. Cannot "drive by" as access is via locked gate. Just 30 minutes from downtown Livingston.
