A unique set of recreational and hunting opportunities at almost 7200 feet featuring top of the world views! In June the mountain tops are lush with native wildflowers including the state icon, the Bitterroot. This historical property is located at the top of the Highland Mountains, featuring two separate but adjoining parcels both containing the allure of Gold. The Locust Lode and the Essay Lode started being mined in 1893 by two elderly gentleman. In a devastating turn of events, the hand dug tunnels (4x200 ft long) burned in 1913 causing them to vacate the mines. Both parcels are cloaked in adventure and are completely surrounded by public lands. Access is seasonal by BLM roads and an all terrain vehicle is recommended to access.
