ERA Landmark Attends 2018 NAR Annual Legislative Meetings
Posted on May 22, 2018 by Carlee SpritzerERA Landmark associates attended the 2018 National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Annual Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo held in Washington D.C., May 14-19. Robyn Erlenbush attended along with Ray Atteberry, Lacy Browne and Mikaela Durham. Erlenbush attended as a committee member for NAR Risk Management. Atteberry represented the Gallatin Association of REALTORS® (GAR) as President of the Big Sky Country MLS and as a GAR Board Member. Browne met on the national Young Professionals Network (YPN) advisory board as Chair of the Montana Association of REALTORS® YPN. Browne is also a committee member for NAR Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction. Durham represented GAR YPN at an affiliate meeting/round table event as well as a YPN evening social. In addition to attending meetings for their specific committees, ERA Landmark attendees participated in various educational sessions and the general session featuring Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Benjamin Carson and keynote speaker Congressman Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri. On Wednesday, agents had the opportunity to visit Capitol Hill and talk with Montana Senators and Representative; Daines, Tester and Gianforte. ERA Landmark associates were all in agreement in saying the meetings were very interesting, informative, and it was nice to be a part of it! Atteberry concluded these praises by stating, "NAR did a masterful job orchestrating the entire conference". The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo is where NAR members take an active role to advance the real estate industry, public policy and the association. REALTORS® come to Washington, DC, for special issues forums, committee meetings, legislative activities and the industry trade show. The National Association of Realtors® is America's largest trade association, representing 1 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
