Posted on July 29, 2021It’s true that Montana has always been a beautiful destination location to visit! Three of our office towns have been ranked by Touropia.com as the top twelve most charming towns in Montana, and for good reason!
#8 Ennis, Montana
Established in 1863 from the influx of minors hoping for their chance to strike gold, Ennis, Montana remains like gold itself as the quaint and friendly flyfishing hub of the Madison River. Attracting people from all parts of the world to fish the bountiful waters of both the upper and lower Madison, Ennis keeps its charm as a ranching and farming town with gorgeous views of the Madison mountain range. With no heavy industry, air and waters are natural and pure; perfect for telecommuters, retirees, and seasonal residents. This is a place where handshakes still have value and the concept of being a good neighbor thrives.
#4 Livingston, Montana
Home to one of the busiest summer junctions down to Yellowstone National Park, Livingston, Montana opens up south to Paradise Valley, an aptly named stretch nestled between the Gallatin Mountain range and the Absaroka Mountain range. Rolling farmland spans across the way cut in half by the Yellowstone River. The river flows up from YNP to Livingston bringing the fishing community to some of the most beautiful views you’ll find in Southwest Montana. Livingston inspires artists, vacationers, and remote workers with panoramic views in every direction for both year-round and seasonal living.
#2 Big Sky, Montana
A quick jaunt from the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, Big Sky serves as the focus of one of Montana’s greatest skiing towns! Settled in the heart of the Gallatin National Forest right off Highway 191, Big Sky opens up to Big Sky Resort, Lone Mountain Ranch, and the Yellowstone Club. Just 15 miles north of the west entrance to Yellowstone Park and sharing the canyon with the Gallatin River, the town serves as a hotspot for summertime hikers, kayak and whitewater rafters, and more flyfishing. Many Big Sky residents are visitors who decided to stay. If your Montana dream involves mountain living where you can experience wildlife in your own backyard, ski, bike, hike, fish, or golf right out your front door, look no further. Big Sky’s small-town feel allows part-time residents and guests to feel right at home.
