About Kirsten

"I have been an artist for my entire life. My practice now includes painting and multi-media artwork. When I relocated to Montana in the early 2000’s I was inspired by the grandness of the landscape and the incredible show in the sky. When I started having a family and in knew I couldn’t be welding while pregnant I decided to pursue painting. The big sky served as my greatest inspiration. I have developed these landscapes over the years. The paintings capture the essence of the epic landscape we encounter and the figures in the foreground demonstrate the incredible scale this fine western world we are privileged to encounter."

Our Pledge

At ERA Landmark, we take a unique approach to showcasing artists in our office. Rather than taking a commission from art sales, we ask our artists to contribute a small percentage to a local charity or nonprofit that is meaningful to them. Kirsten has generously pledged to donate 15% of her art proceeds from any sales to Eagle Mount.

"For nearly 40 years, with the help and support of a generous community, We’ve focused on celebrating abilities and removing barriers to recreation. We serve individuals with disabilities of all ages, as well as people with cancer. Whether horseback riding, skiing, swimming, gardening, cycling, climbing, or enjoying a variety of other activities, our participants and their families expand their horizons in a multitude of ways through each of Montana’s four seasons. Recreation means a lot more than play-time; it is a chance for 're-creation' — restoring yourself by discovering new strength, confidence, freedom, and joy."

To further support Kirsten's cause, ERA Landmark will be matching donations of up to $250 to the same organization. From 2023, we have been able to donate just over $1,400 to ten local charities and non-profits that we may not have had the opportunity to support without our lovely artists.
