Coming February 2025: Big Sky Skijoring's "Best in the West" Showdown Expands to Three Days

Get ready for the 7th Annual Big Sky Skijoring "Best in the West" Showdown, an exciting Western sporting event that's growing in popularity each year. This year, the competition will expand to three days of competition and celebration, taking place from February 7th to 9th, returning to Big Sky's Town Center.

Organized by the non-profit Big Sky Skijoring, this event brings together skiers, snowboarders, and horseback riders for a unique blend of skill and speed. Competitors from across the West will vie for coveted titles, cash prizes, and the prestigious belt buckles awarded to the winners. The popularity of the "Best in the West" Showdown has skyrocketed in recent years, with competition slots filling up almost instantly. Due to overwhelming demand, the event is expanding to three days to accommodate more participants and offer a more comprehensive experience.

• Saturday & Sunday, February 8th & 9th: Junior, Sport, and Open (Pro) Divisions
