Robyn Erlenbush, Broker/Owner of ERA Landmark Real Estate, along with associates Katie Haley Grimm, Tom Gierhan, Cheryl Ridgely, and Brian Tudor, recently attended the Inman Real Estate Connect conference in New York City, January 28 – January 31, 2020.

Inman Connect is residential real estate’s leading event — a weeklong exploration of the present and future of the industry, featuring inspiring speakers, engaging conversation, and A+ networking. This year in New York, thousands of top-producing agents, independent brokers, franchise executives, MLS and association leaders, tech entrepreneurs, and marketing executives gathered to build their businesses and forge new connections.

Robyn Erlenbush has attended 10 Inman Connect conferences and was featured as a speaker on three occasions on topics of marketing, business planning, and broker management.  What she appreciates most about the programing is that it is cutting edge and thought provoking. Inman is an opportunity to hear about new ideas and old ideas being repurposed.  Attendees walk away from the event with a broader sense of the real estate market beyond just the Realtor community.

Cheryl Ridgely notes, “ It was energizing to immerse myself in a learning environment with industry leaders who are championing new business models throughout the US. I particularly enjoyed the insights shared from architects and developers who are creating micro mobility environments and how growing cities can be reinvented to thrive for future generations.”  

Katie Haley Grimm adds, “Inman Connect is a leading, cutting edge, state of the art real estate conference.  While it includes the latest technology and trends, it reminds me that the business is about relationships. Nurturing those relationships and working in such a fascinating industry is an honor and a  privilege. I have been attending Inman Connect NY since 2016.”  

Brian Tudor explains, “With over 250 leaders in the industry who spoke at the Inman conference in NYC and so many opportunities to listen and learn from them in individual classes and round table formats, the value for a top real estate conference was certainly apparent.  Keynote speakers were inspirational and brought to the table many new ways to see the way we work in the industry. Looking towards the future, the speakers were optimistic. Rates are still low and first time buyers can access various programs to help assist in one of their biggest financial steps in their lives. There were many takeaways; however, the main one for me was that relationships are king.”

Tom Gierhan comments, “This was my third year attending the Inman Connect Conference in New York. I absolutely love and am intrigued with the innovation and fast paced insight into the real estate industry. From tech to marketing to financing, Inman always seems to be ahead of the curve on what's new and exciting. There's a unique look into the year ahead with top tools and new ventures.  Although tech is a major part of our industry, it appears to have come full circle and the most successful will continue to focus on their number one asset, relationships.”
