ERA Landmark Brokers Attend 2023 NAR Legislative Meetings
Posted on May 18, 2023ERA Landmark Real Estate Broker/Owner Robyn Erlenbush, Supervising Broker Rachel Tasker, and Broker/GAR President-Elect Brian Tudor attended the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Legislative Meetings held in Washington, DC May 6-11. This annual event is where NAR members take an active role to advance the real estate industry, public policy, and the association. With over 9,000 real estate professionals in attendance, this year's topic of focus was advancing issues important to the real estate profession. "The profound importance and powerful impact of NAR’s advocacy work has become increasingly clear over the last several years. The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings allow us to build on that momentum and continue the critical policy conversations among REALTORS®, lawmakers, and industry leaders." (legislative.realtor)
During the event, sessions included special issues forums, committee meetings, appointments with local Senators and Representatives, and economic updates. Rachel Tasker attended as President of the Big Sky Country MLS and joined MLS policy forums and economic updates from NAR's chief economist. She noted that this year was full of great peer-to-peer networking, discussion about the changing industry with advancements of new tech and the introduction of AI, as well as a look at how fast our MLS is growing. Robyn Erlenbush has sat on the National Risk Management Committee since 2014 which focuses on real estate risk management and legal issues across the nation. She also attended the National Association of Home Builders report, the general session, and the Economic Outlook with Lawrence Yun. Brian Tudor attended as the President-Elect of the Gallatin Association of REALTORS® (GAR).
