Posted on February 1, 2024 by Becca QuackenbushERA Landmark is proud to host the third annual Sweet Pea Festival’s Winter Art Show this year! We have accepted another wide variety of artwork from oil pastel drawings, acrylic paintings, photography, bronze sculptures, and an incredible owl sculpture made from recycled bike chains!

A Juried Exhibition
Being a juried show, we never envy the job of our judge or judges on their task to claim our artists with first, second, and third-place winners when we have such a fantastic array of artwork on the walls. Luckily this time around, we have Robert Spannring judging this show, a Montanan native and Livingston resident, he has been a fine Artist for 40 years. During the first twenty years, Robert worked as an illustrator and watercolorist, developing his skills in drawing and painting. From 1987 to 1992, Robert was "Artist in Residence" at Lake Hotel, after being awarded the contract to produce all the artwork for the Hotel renovation of which his work still hangs today in Yellowstone National Park.
From now until February 15th you have a chance to vote for your favorite art piece, the popular vote wins the artist People's Choice award! To kick off the month-long show we invite you to join us for our opening reception Tuesday, February 1st from 5:00 - 7:00 PM to be the first to see the show and meet and greet our artists. Enter to win $50 Downtown Dollars, snack on light refreshments, sip some snazzy wine and enjoy our wonderful art community Bozeman offers. We hope to see you there!
