Livingston Agents Visit Park High's Ranger Station Coffee Trailer

Livingston agents Amanda Murphy, Deb Kelly, Nicole Clayton, Jessie Sarrazin, Brooke Weimer, Carren Jacobik & Lisa Svendsen paid a visit to Park High School to view the Ranger Station Coffee Trailer and hear a proposal from PHS students. The agents decided to make a donation from their Community Reinvestment Fund to help the project toward completion. The Park FFA Chapter came up with the idea to build a coffee trailer as a student run business by which the various clubs at Park High can utilize to raise funds. The coffee trailer is a work-based learning project in that students have written the business plan and grants, worked on project design and actual construction, designed their logo, collaborated with businesses throughout the community, and have learned how to make adjustments as the project developed. Once completed, the Park FFA Chapter and their Ag Ed advisor, Shane Stender, will oversee the overall operations in the way of maintaining the financials, scheduling, keeping inventory, and maintaining the trailer so that other student clubs can check out the trailer for their own fundraising efforts.
