Construction on the much-anticipated 44,000-square-foot wellness center is inching closer! This state-of-the-art facility, to be built at the site of Katie Bonnell Park in north Livingston, according to the most recent plans, is designed to offer a wide range of amenities and programs:
The Aquatic Center: Relax and rejuvenate in the soothing therapy and recreation pool. For those seeking a more vigorous workout, the six-lane, 25-yard lap pool is perfect for swimming laps or participating in aquatic fitness classes.
Fitness Facilities: Stay active and fit with a variety of fitness options. The multi-purpose gymnasium, equipped for basketball and pickleball, provides a versatile space for group classes, open play, and competitive sports. Additionally, an elevated walking track offers a scenic and convenient way to get your daily exercise.
Community Spaces: The wellness center will also serve as a gathering place for the community. Dedicated areas for child care, multipurpose rooms, and even a track area will provide opportunities for social interaction, education, and events.
Construction Progress and Fundraising Efforts:
While the construction timeline is contingent on fundraising efforts, the 4 Ranges Campaign is actively working to secure the necessary funds to bring this project to fruition. With the support of generous donors like the Gianforte Family Foundation, Sage Lodge, and anonymous donors, the wellness center has raised $1.6 million since August and with some more fundraising, is hopefully on track to become a reality. This wellness center will be a game-changer for Livingston, offering residents a central location for fitness, leisure, and community connection. It's an investment in health and well-being.
